Candle Care

How to burn, trim and care for your PANDÉ candle so it lasts.

First burn

Burn for two to three hours the first time so the wax pool reaches the edge of the vessel. This sets an even burn for the life of the candle.

Trim the wick

Trim to about 5 mm before every lighting. An untrimmed wick smokes, soots the vessel and shortens burn time.

Burn time

Never burn for more than three hours at a time, and stop when about 10 mm of wax remains at the base.

Placement

Place on a level, heat-resistant surface away from draughts, curtains and direct sunlight. Never leave a lit candle unattended.

Afterwards

Once finished, warm and wipe out the remaining wax with a soft cloth. The vessel is made to be kept — for brushes, matches or a single stem.
